- A few rooms in Louvre one is not allowed to take pictures with or without flash. There are signs on the walls. We always asked the room guard if flash was allowed. Many paintings are behind glass and one gets reflections with the flash but we found ways to take photos without flash that turned out great!

- Yes to most of them. We've been to many of the museums in four trips to Paris and have taken nonflash photos everywhere. We took hundreds of photos in the museums with Canon 8-megapixel pocket sized cameras. Just make sure to turn off the flash. The photos were amazing.
