- CA glue is the best. CA for tacking things in place, then PVA for long-term strength. Some may say CA, but unless the PE used gets enclosed in the cockpit or place that won't be touched again, I suggest using one of those slow curing glues. They'll dry solidly and won't become brittle as CA does after 1 or 2 months.

- The best way to do PE (in my experience) is using super-thin CA glue and an applicator something like a sewing needle with the end cut off (making a teensy Y-shaped fork) or a Glue Looper. You can pick up a teensy drop of thin CA and hold it next to where the PE is touching the plastic, and capillary action will suck the glue into the joint, where it will cure almost immediately.
