XRR won the Mersea Island Challenge Trophy in 2016, against competition from 10 other clubs from the British Isles. For 25 years we ran a day of photography, called 'Pre Visions'. In 2011, Pre-Visions was replaced by 'VISIONS' which is a projected digital image competition open to both individual photographers and clubs. HISTORY OF THE CLUB

XRR Photographic Society - Visions Competition Rules

Each entrant must submit 3 images in JPEG format and sRGB colour space with max width of 1400 pixels and a max height of 1050 pixels. All elements of the images must be derived from the original photographic work of the entrant. Images which have previously been entered into an XRR Visions or Pre-Visions event in any format are not eligible.

XRR hopes to revive VISIONS in 2022. VISIONS is a digital image trophy competition, held annually. It is specifically aimed at individual competitors from any PAGB affiliated club. There is also the option for three individual entrants to be registered as a club team to compete for a separate trophy.
