- For me personally, photography is an escape, physically and psychologically. And it gives me reason to just go out and explore new places, instead of just sitting around at home. 2 Share ReportSave

- So I've spent most of my career doing photography (it's fair to call it building a visual memory) and writing image processing applications. Photography means a great deal to me. I spend about a hour a day just looking through my photographs. It's enormously relaxing and pleasing.

- Photography still a pretty legitimate art. Saying it's not is like saying people who use graphic design software are talentless hacks. An actual photographer still needs to know which lenses to use, proper exposure, shutter speed and on top of that most learn how to use photoshop and I when I say use I mean really learn how to use it not just a basic understanding of it.
