- Yes, there is a way to do it*. Use fluorescent materials for the barcode itself, making it so that duplication cannot be done by photograph without ruining the duplicate's "invisibility", which distinguishes fakes. Modern ID cards use this. *This only works for polycarbonate cards, not PVC.
