Not because of the wider angle (although that's a plus, just not in landscape work). But because it's sharper. The Tokina can have a wider aperture, but that's not important for landscape work. The Sigma is sharp edge to edge.

- I’ve read the 11–16 F2.8 has high CA and high distortion, which isn’t great for architecture/skyscrapers.
