- Your shutter speed 1/125 and up should be good enough to stop normal camera shake at the shorter focal lengths you were shooting but might not be fast enough to stop the action of the cheerleaders. This may cause blur in moving cheerleaders. As far as exposure the normal matrix metering should give a good exposure.
