- Staples Center rather vigorously enforces the rule regarding length of lens. They measure the length of your lens against a credit card sized piece of plastic. I brought in my 1DmkII and the 70-300 DO, which when retracted is within their guidelines. However, I was asked to check my camera in at Guest Services when a staffer saw my lens extended.
