    Using the SD14 for IR photography is quite handy, because removing the IR blocking filter is so easy. But having an DSLR without a screen can make it difficult to control image framing. Hence I am using the 10 to 20 mm f3.5 ultra wide zoom, not to get a narrow angle too much (and actually this image is cropped to 16:9 ratio).

    The subtle color effects some people get with 720nm filters comes from the quality of the IR filter. Lower quality IR filters let more visible light through, creating false colors. If you want to create false-color IR images, you will need to use a 680nm filter. Swapping the R-B channels would create dark-blue skies and golden leaves.
