- When I was at primary school a friend of mine keen on photography did all his own D&P and gave me his box-brownie when he got a better camera. He also taught me how to play chess, not that that is rekevant. I'd suggest compact cameras, preferably with viewfinders, rather than interchangeable lens cameras.

- My school already has 15 simple Olympus P&S. I plan to use these to teach the students about the basics of composition, colour and lighting.
