    I've only used a gold toner for Kallitypes. This is what I've used: 1% gold chloride 50ml 1% thiourea 50ml tartaric acid 0.5g distilled water to make 1000ml I found that if I use as little solution as possible, you can stretch its life a bit. Thanks Andrew, I saw that recipe elsewhere and it was described as keeping well for a number of months.
