- Priced at $2,099 MSRP, the D600 was the cheapest full-frame DSLR from Nikon, around $900 cheaper than its bigger brother, the Nikon D800 at the time of announcement. The camera is designed for any kind of amateur and professional photography – from landscape and studio, to event and wildlife photography.

Nikon D600 for action-wildlife photography, Part 1. - Blogger

- All in all the D600 doesn't really lend itself for action and wildlife photography, although its 5.5fps at 24.3mp is astonishing it is well short of the 8fps I get with my old D300 with the MBD-10 attached (the D600 FPS rate is not increased by adding a battery grip) Greylag geese, D600, Nikon 300mm, 2.8 AFS, @ 1/1600th sec, f8, 640iso

- Professionally speaking, I could totally see myself photographing real-estate, architecture, or product photography on a D600 very successfully. The D600’s dynamic range is so huge, an HDR is no longer necessary to combine full sun and deep shade! The D600 highlights resist that “hard-edge” look beautifully well,
Nikon D4s vs D810 vs D600 for Wildlife Photography

- NIKON D600 + 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6 @ 360mm, ISO 500, 1/500, f/7.1 1/500, f/7.1, ISO 500, 80-400mm @ 360mm, D600 Hmmm, so you lucked out. And at 100% you’re lapping up tons of detail and you beat the D810 when it comes to amount of saliva. Bottom line is even the cheapest Nikon full frame DSLR can excel at shooting big slow beasts.
Birds in flight photography with the Nikon D800 and D600 …

- Overall, I will say the D600 is a fantastic and lightweight wildlife camera with great image quality. The D600’s autofocus system is fast but could be a bit faster. It works decently for horizontally moving subjects but when you have a head on shot of a bird in flight, it often gets confused and misses quite frequently.

- A rock-steady camera is essential to capturing tack-sharp nature and wildlife shots, and Nikon’s exclusive Vibration Reduction technology offers the perfect solution for reducing the image blur caused by camera shake. It provides you with increased “hand-holdability,” delivering dramatically sharper images in a wide range of conditions.

- Re: Best lens for landscape photography for a Nikon D600 In reply to Ido S • Jun 8, 2016 If the problem is that 28mm isn't wide enough to capture a whole mountain range in one shot, then getting a wider focal length such as 24mm isn't really going to solve it. But whoever said "don't wait till you get home" hit the nail square on.
Nikon D750 for Wildlife and Landscape Photography
- https://photographylife.com/nikon-d750-for-wildlife-and-landscape-photography
- At first glance the D750 looks like the replacement for the D600/610 series – a full frame DSLR for the photographer making the step up from DX. The tilting LCD screen and built-in Wi-Fi scream enthusiast camera. Then again the -3EV AF-system and 6.5 fps burst rate hint it might be closer to a D810 than the D610. So which is it?
