- Re: D700 and Sports Photgraphy. The 70-200 will work well with a tele-converter but not for night games. It limits your f-stop to 5.6 with that lens. You should be able to get most of your shots at 200mm I would think. I set my camera to ISO 200 with auto feature for a max of 800 most of the time and a shutter speed of min/125sec and aperture mode.
