- Welcome The Nansen Ski Club is the oldest continually operating ski club in America, established in the late 1800's. We provide groomed Nordic ski & snowshoe trails at Milan Hill State Park in northern New Hampshire, while we also work to restore "The Big Nansen" - a 172 foot ski jump which hosted the first Olympic jumping trials in 1938.

- The Nansen Ski Jump was the largest of its kind for many years in the eastern part of the United States. The Berlin, New Hampshire history web page has old photos of the jump and the best write-up on the history of it. Take a look here (about 1/2 way down the page). Nansen Ski Jump – Stairs To Jump

- “Li’l Nansen” is a 10K size jumping hill on the Big Nansen site, that was built entirely with volunteer equipment and labor in the Fall of 2021. It is our beginner hill and also held its first competition during our Eastern meet. Watching kids, as young as five years old, experience this sport, and truly have fun, is a priceless reward.
