    Nadar the balloonist… Photography, while absorbing, was by no means Nadar’s only interest. Along with several of his friends, Including Jules Verne and Victor Hugo, he was fascinated by the idea of human flight. Accordingly, during the 1850s, Nadar enthusiastically began hot-air ballooning.
