- At a recent star party I was able to see and compare a 10-inch tube dobsonian to a 10-inch Meade Lightbridge, and even a 12-inch truss tube Orion Dob. The Meade Lightbridge is more impressive in person, really. My concern was that it has only 3 trusses to the 4 truss design of the Orion models. But it's more solid than I would've guessed.
