    You're missing the point about photography. Every beginner does this. They think "hey, if I learn aperture and shutter speed, I'll take awesome photos!" - WRONG. Get out and shoot, lots and lots; learn that out of 2000 photos only 5 will be awesome. Keep shooting and keep failing, it's the only real way to get an eye for what you want.
