    There is confusion in this thread due to referring to "tagging" a photo as "labeling." When you add metadata to a photo file it's called "tagging." The Windows 10 app will display a limited amount of metadata (the tag information) by clicking on the three dots at the top right of the window and selecting "File info." You can't add metadata in the Photos app, however.
