- No need to reinvent the wheel. I'm thinking the idea behind the photolog as suggested by the OP is so that entries can be made while out shooting and then the information can be transferred to the IPTC, if he so chooses, when post processing the images. It doesn't make sense to keep a log after the fact, I don't think.
