- I use Lyson Inkjet UV spray which invisibly coats the prints. It’s supposed to be good against fading. My inks (Espon 1280 printer and inks) are already light fast and waterproof. Go to a good photography shop and explain your problem and what products you use and ask. If I were you though, try some better papers.

- The primary advantage I have found with lamination is the speed of the process compared to spray coating inkjet printouts! The downside is that if the laminator skews the project during lamination, the printout is ruined. However, I have a nearly 100% success rate on my single-sided inkjet photo laminations!

- I haven't found any fixatives or sealants, water based or otherwise, that didn't degrade the appearance of inkjet prints to some degree, one way or another. I find it best to just let the prints dry thoroughly and then use either archival plastic sleeves, or matte/frame them under glass to keep them looking good as well as properly protected.
