How to Make HP5 Looks its Best — Pushed, Pulled, and …

    https://www.learnfilm.photography/how-far-can-i-push-or-pull-ilford-hp5-film/
Ilford HP5 Plus is rated to shoot between ISO 200 and 3200, but it will show the best results between ISO 320 and 1600. This film shows remarkable results even at higher ISO values, but the further HP5 is pushed, the more grain and …

The Magic of Ilford HP5+ Pushed to 1600 - jDevaun …

The Magic of Ilford HP5 + Pushed to 1600 March 1, 2018 I love contrasty black and white, so when it comes to film photography I tend to prefer films like Rollei Retro 80S and Fujifilm Acros 100 (I just hate the curl). I rarely …

Astrophotography: Picking Your Pixels - Sky & Telescope

HP5 in DD-X or HC-110? A [non-scientific] Comparison

    https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/hp5-in-dd-x-or-hc-110-a-non-scientific-comparison.718191/
HP5 in Rodinal looks terrible to my eye so it's not included here. Pricewise DD-X is expensive. I'm going to quote price per film rather than price per bottle because dilutions etc will make a difference. Rodinal at 1+50 weighs in at 35p per 35mm film. HC-110 at 33p (1+31) and DD-X at a whopping £1.08 (1+4).

FP4 or HP5 that is the question? - Photrio.com …

    https://www.photrio.com/forum/threads/fp4-or-hp5-that-is-the-question.49275/
HP5 is a flatter film in the shadows, and a steeper film in the highlights than FP4. This is my experience, in any case. I find that HP5 is more versatile, especially in larger formats where grain is not an issue. I say this because the contrast is lower over all.

Comparing 5 Top Wide-Angle Astrophotography Lenses

    https://photographylife.com/landscapes/comparing-5-top-wide-angle-astrophotography-lenses
If you want to shoot sharp photos of stars, it helps to have the right lens for the job. After all, a good lens during the day might be a dud for resolving pinpoint stars in a photo’s corners at night. Here, I’ve tested five popular wide-angle lenses for astrophotography: the Laowa 12mm f/2.8, Rokinon 14mm f/2.4, Samyang 14mm f/2.8, Nikon ...

Best developer for HP5 at 800/1600 - Talk Photography

Nikon F80. Sigma 105mm f/2.8 OS HSM. Ilford HP5+ (@1600) Ilfotec DD-X 1+4 13mins @ 20°. Harbinger of autumn by fishyfish_arcade, on Flickr. One thing to consider is the range of shutter speeds on your camera. My Nikon F80 goes up to 1/4000sec, so even pushing to 1600asa on a sunny day, I can still shoot in daylight.

5dsr for astrophotography: Astrophotography Talk Forum …

    https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4283872
The 5Dsr should be quite good for astro, and your image shows that. You can always bin the small pixels to any larger size and get the signal-to-noise ratio of cameras with larger pixels, but I would keep the full resolution. I apologize for …
