Now, shooting from a helicopter pretty much means that focus will be set at, or close to, infinity and depth of field just isn’t going to matter. I could’ve chosen f/4, had more light, and about the same depth. The 16-35mm f/4 is plenty sharp at f/4, but only in the center.
