A good lens for full body portrait photography is the 50mm lens which gives you a focal length of 50mm. For portraits it is best to use a wide angle lens. I suggest using either the 50mm, 85mm or 105mm focal length for full body portraits. You’ll also need light. A flash is helpful for your shot, but if not you can go without it and still make great photos.

50mm is a pretty standard focal length. It’s very close to the focal length of our eyes. So photos taken at this focal length can look natural. This is also not bad for taking portrait photos. You can take full body portraits or the upper half easily with this focal length. You can even bring in some background with ease.

Getting shots with a 24mm wide-angle lens was much easier but at the same time on some shots the proportions looked somewhat warped, so to me it seems like using a 24mm for full body photography is something better reserved for specific shots and not for general photography. So essentially I want to know what focal length makes most sense.
