    https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3128055
Hey all. I have been using the X100 but not for much low light. Generally I keep the camera on auto ISO 3200 with the minimum shutter speed set to around 100. I'm interested in what metering you all might use in dark bar or street type situation. You know, the setting that Fuji ridiculously calls Photometry. Multi, Spot, or Average.

Frankly, it is a monster for night photography. Fuji X100 Night Settings: I use this camera up to ISO 6400 for night street photography (typically at F2), and while the noise / digital grain is very present at these extreme ISOs, the photos look great. A big reason for switching to the x100v was for the better low light capabilities. So I'm a bit baffled, and hoping I'm missing something rather than the camera being faulty. I don't understand why my nine year old camera shoots better in low light. I've also tried the x100v with a higher ISO, which the x100s doesn't reach, and the pictures ...

Most problems in low light come when the aperture can’t be opened any wider, and so longer and longer shutter speeds are used until we encounter camera shake – blur caused by movement of the camera while the shutter is open. Stopping this blur is key to photographing in low light. There are five ways to do it… Raise the ISO Sensitivity

Shooting Handheld in Low Light | | FUJIFILM Digital …

For example, the FUJINON XF23mmF1.4 R and XF56mmF1.2 R prime lenses let in roughly two to three times as much light as the XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R LM OIS, used at equivalent focal lengths. That’s enough to take a shaky 1/15 sec shutter speed to a handholdable 1/125 sec, which will also freeze moderate subject movement.

The EVF is amazing on the Fuji X-T1. It's one of my favorite things about the camera. The EVF allows you to have an preview of exactly what your exposure, film simulation, DOF and white balance will be, even before your take the shot! But what if you're shooting in low light? What if you're doing a low light photo shoot
