- As far as I am aware Ellis Kelsey's earliest colour images used the Lumiere Brother's Autochrome plates (1907 onwards). He showed eight examples at the RPS Exhibition in 1908. Then he experimented with the Dufay Dioptichrome plates (from 1909). Unfortunately we do not have any examples although he exhibited (RPS) examples in 1911 and 1912.
