IMO, a big factor not mentioned is that of the Nikon entry level models the D7000/D7100/D7200 are the only ones that one can save a lot on lenses because, unlike the D3000/D5000 Series, the 7000 Series has its own motor so older (and much cheaper) lenses will still auto-focus.
