Photographer absolutely. Most even have it in their contract that you are required to give them the same meal as everyone else OR they get a dinner break where they step away from your reception and eat for however long they have in the contract. You don’t need to feed your officiant although some also have it in contract. I’m feeding everyone.

One of the more popular options for determining where a photographer sits during dinner is to stick us at a vendor table. While I understand that not all couples want to sit their vendors at the same table as their guests, vendor tables only work if they’re actually located in the reception room and if we still have the ability to get to-and ...

Yep, ask your venue how they typically handle vendor meals & then ask your vendors for their preference. For us, our officiant will be leaving right after the ceremony, our photographers wish to step out for a bit (20-30min) during the meal to eat on their own & our DJ wishes to have a seated meal.

Photograph the reception details before the ceremony. I leave 30minutes-1hour of down time after portraits before the ceremony. This allows me to photograph the reception un-touched before any guests fill the room! Photograph wide shots of the room, as well as each detail, centerpiece, and the cake! This also gives me time to set up my off ...
