Nikon D7000 Review - Photography Life

    https://photographylife.com/reviews/nikon-d7000
The Nikon D7000 is a mid-tier DSLR with a high-resolution 16.2 MP DX-format CMOS sensor and a powerful EXPEED 2 processor at its heart. I had a chance to test out several copies of the D7000 over a period of 3+ months. Due to my busy schedule and very high demand on the camera, I was not able to obtain a copy earlier to test.

By: Jeff Keller, Digital Camera Resource Page (Mar 19, 2011) The Nikon D7000 is a full-featured midrange digital SLR that should satisfy just about anything enthusiast. It offers solid build quality, very good photo quality, tons of manual controls and custom features, a beautiful LCD, Full HD video recording, and lots of optional accessories. And, there's not much to complain …

Before getting to the results, let’s state that using the Nikon D7000 is quite enjoyable. Response time is blazing fast even shooting RAW+JPEG Fine; peeling off bursts of 10 to 20 images, the...

Although ergonomically, the D7000 is a very close match for the D90, its overall 'feel' is considerably more serious, thanks to a magnesium alloy body shell and slightly thicker rubber coating on the hand grip and rear of the camera. At 16.2Mp the D7000 offers the second highest resolution of any Nikon DSLR, behind only the 24Mp D3X.

Nikon D7000 Overview: Digital Photography Review

The Nikon D7000 produces high quality output in almost any shooting situation. Default JPEGs are clean of artifacts and with natural colors and tonality. At a pixel level low ISO images are very slightly soft but still show very good detail which can be further increased by shooting in RAW.

Nikon D7000 [Review] - Digital Photography School

Nikon D7000 Features This model has a new CMOS sensor, with 16.2 megapixels on the chip; using the maximum image size of 4928×3264 pixels, expect to get a 42×28 cm print. And a big welcome to the video specs: 1920×1080 pixels for a maximum 20 minute burst. There is an onboard microphone (but of course you wouldn’t use that if you were serious).

Nikon D7000 Review: Digital Photography Review

    https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond7000/17
The Nikon D7000's imaging sensor is of a new generation which produces exceptionally low read noise at base ISO. This lowers the noise floor that usually limits DR and means that you can pull much more dynamic range out of the shadows in RAW conversion than with 'conventional' sensors. To illustrate this we have taken the base ISO RAW shots of ...

Nikon D7000 Review: Digital Photography Review

    https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond7000/10
When it was announced in September the D7000 took a lot of people by surprise. Although a D90 successor had been on the horizon for some time, what wasn't expected was how close in specification terms the new camera would turn out to be to the D300S. In some respects, in fact, the D7000 actually outguns its (supposedly) semi-pro cousin, and offers a compelling …
