    Sometimes it just won’t work or you’ll strip the gears pushing it. I think I eventually turned AF off on lenses I used that had it except in specific circumstances where that extra sharp perfect focus was hard to get. It was all film cameras with auto focus features so early stuff though. I don’t know how it works now.
