    I would strongly disagree.. If you’re just looking at a coin, tilting into a light source is a good idea.. If you’re trying to take in focus photos you should absolutely not tilt the coin. Macro photography functions with very shallow depth of field. Tilting a coin causes the surface of the coin to only be in focus for part of the coin, not the full coin.
