- Bulwell Photos added a new photo. The Gatekeepers Lodge at Bulwell Hall (demolished) 1970s. The Lodge was located on the left hand side of the road through the park just after the car park near the main entrance. I remember a whitethroat’s nest just near the lodge over the golfer’s path. I was living on Sandhurst road in the prefabs.

- Posted March 22, 2018. The old "Acropolis" is at present being renovated from a god awful chippy & pizza takeaway to something called "Zinger Munch" whatever that establishment might be. In it's day the Acropolis was the best kebab house in Bulwell, I bought my first ever donor kebab there back in the '70s.
