    You will typically attach your T-Mount-ed Nikon to one of two attachments...either a 1.25” or 2” T-Mount/eyepiece adapter, or directly to the telescope via the “visual back”, which is the part that has the thumbscrews to hold an eyepiece or diagonal in place.
