The 6D MkII also shows a little less pixelation on small stars, as it should being a 26 megapixel camera vs. 20 to 21 megapixels for the older cameras. However, you have to examine the images at pixel-peeping levels to see these differences. Nevertheless, having higher resolution without the penalty of higher noise is very welcome.

    https://amazingsky.net/2021/09/23/testing-the-canon-r6-for-astrophotography/
The Canon R6 has proven excellent for astrophotography, exhibiting better dynamic range and shadow recovery than most Canon DSLRs, due to the ISO invariant design of the R6 sensor. It is on par with the low-light performance of Nikon and Sony mirrorless cameras. The preview image is sensitive enough to allow easy framing and focusing at night.

Deep sky imaging with Canon EOS 6D Mark II - Cloudy Nights

Usually it is somewhere around 15-20 seconds, but it also depends on the area of the sky. Anyway, being in a red zone, any exposure above 90s results in a almost completely white frame so I'm thinking to better focus on mastering polar alignment rather than guiding. About 60s unguided should be achievable with NEQ6-R mount.
