- The + import button on the top left is grayed out. When I go to the File dropdown menu, 'Add Photos' is also grayed out. There is no "Import Photos" button at the bottom. I can't find a single other question or tutorial that has encountered this issue so I'm at a complete loss. Not really sure what I'm missing here. Screenshots below.

- When I import images in Lightroom they are greyed out.If i go into develop and pick a greyed out image it shows on the screen and i can work on it.When it returns to the library it is again grayed out. This isn't really clear to me what you are describing. You first talk about Import, then develop, then Library module.
