- But the 2008 Pulitzer winners have been announced, and I think this is important. Adrees Latif (Reuters) won for breaking news photography with "his dramatic photograph of the Japanese videographer, sprawled on the pavement, fatally wounded during a street demonstration in Myanmar", according to the prize board. You can see the photo here:
