16 mm, is it enough for portraits? - Fuji X Passion
- https://www.fujixpassion.com/2020/01/21/16-mm-is-it-enough-for-portraits/
- This time we will focus on portrait photography with the Fujifilm XF 16mm f/2.8. In the past, I had an XF 23mm f/1.4 and a Samyang 12mm f/2.0. After 2,5 years of shooting with these lenses, I found that I needed a change to be able to shoot what I really want. First I bought a Mitakon 35mm f/0.95 and about a year later the XF 16mm f/2.8.

16mm Magazine Film Now! - The Film Photography Project
- https://filmphotographyproject.com/16mm-magazine-film-now/
- Magazine 16 is a movie film format released by Kodak around 1935. The concept is fairly simple: 50 feet of double perforated 16mm film is loaded into a light-tight metal magazine which pops (or slides) into the camera and then shot–think of it as a sort of 16mm version of a Super 8 cartridge. Originally, the price of the magazine included a ...

Street Photography with the ‘Fujicron’ XF16mm f/2.8 R WR
- https://fujilove.com/street-photography-with-the-fujicron-xf16mm-f-2-8-r-wr/
- The strength of the new XF 16mm f/2.8 R WR is the compact size and weight. When it’s mounted to the new X-T30, the kit is lighter than the XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R WR (538g versus 655g). When I had this kit around my neck, I didn’t feel the weight, similar to having any of the other Fujicons mounted to one of Fujifilm’s compact bodies.

Why 16 Megapixels, When I Could Have 50? - Photography Life
- https://photographylife.com/why-16-megapixels-when-i-could-have-50
- The further away your final output is viewed, the less PPI it needs to be printed at. This is why billboards are printed at ~10 PPI. From half-a-block away you can’t tell the difference between 10 PPI or 1000 PPI. A 16 MP image printed at 10 PPI will be 41 feet wide. I’ve only had one photo published on a billboard and it was taken with an ...
